In Proverbs 22:6, we’re reminded of the significance of training up children in the ways of the Lord, knowing that this foundation will guide them throughout their lives. As a church community, we’re committed to fostering an environment where families can thrive and grow in their faith together.
One of the core values at JCC Parklands is the belief that the family is the basic unit of the church and society. We recognize that strong, healthy families are essential for building a strong, healthy church and community. That’s why we’re intentional about equipping families with the tools, resources, and support they need to cultivate godly values and principles in their homes.
Central to our approach to family values is the recognition that God is the ultimate source of wisdom and guidance for our families. Through prayer, study of His Word, and reliance on His Spirit, we seek to align our families with His purposes and plans. We believe that when families prioritize their relationship with God and His Word, they lay a firm foundation for spiritual growth, unity, and resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
At JCC Parklands, we’re passionate about instilling biblical values such as love, respect, integrity, and forgiveness within our families. We believe that these values not only strengthen the bonds between family members but also serve as a powerful witness to the world around us. As families live out these values in their everyday lives, they become beacons of light and hope in a dark and broken world.
But cultivating godly family values isn’t just about what happens within the walls of our homes; it’s also about how we engage with and support one another as a church family. Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of family and the opportunity to cultivate godly values within our homes. Help us, as families at JCC Parklands and anyehere in the world, to prioritize our relationship with You and to live out Your values in our everyday lives. Strengthen us to be beacons of light and hope in our community, shining brightly for Your glory. May our families be a testament to Your faithfulness and goodness to the world around us.
